In 2015, CASELAP graduated the first PhD candidate, Dr. Jane Nyakang'o who, having successfully completed the PhD Programme in Environmental Policy, was in December 2015, awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree, by the University of Nairobi.

Position: Managing Director, Kenya National Cleaner Production Centre (KNCPC)
Work experience: 20 years’ experience working with the UN organisations, national and EAC countries on sustainable consumption and production and in particular, green industry, climate change, pollution prevention, environmental policy, sustainable financing and resource efficiency.
