CASELAP leads in Performance Contracting

The Centre for Advanced Studies in Environmental Law and Policy (CASELAP) has been crowned overall winner in the Performance Contract 2019/2020. This was revealed in the University’s Performance Contract Award Ceremony, which took place on January 29, 2021.

CASELAP also scooped the first position in the Institutes and Centres category, coming from position 32 in the last Performance Contracting Ranking. Performance Contracting is a measure of excellence in the performance of each of the units in the University. It ensures efficiency in service delivery in the areas of teaching, learning, research and strategic direction.

While unveiling the results and awarding the top three best performers in each category, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama noted that since the University adopted the Performance Contract in 2005/2006, the UoN has maintained a measure of excellence and remained highly ranked in the region and worldwide.

At CASELAP, we are committed to continuous improvement and we shall endeavour to raise the academic standards in research and innovation for the growth of the disciplines of Environmental Law and Environmental Policy.
