To Develop Advanced Level Expertise in Environmental Governance.

Kenya, on 6 May 2016, enacted into law The Climate Change Act, 2016. This is a law designed to guide the country in addressing increasing challenges to the society, economy and environment that are caused by climate change.

CASELAP immensely contributed to the process of making this law. This was through the contributions of Faculty Members, Prof. Nick Oguge, and Dr. Robert Kibugi.

Prof Nick Oguge was a member of the Task Force, bringing scientific and policy expertise to the process.
